Miyiwts – Water’s Edge is the large-scale public art piece being developed for the exterior of təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Centre by Coast Salish artist, James Harry. Harry grew up in New Westminster and was deeply influenced by his father, Xwalacktun, a master carver of the Squamish Nation. The artwork is in fabrication and will be installed prior to the grand opening of the centre in early 2024.
